Postpartum matrescence support
Compassionate Support for the Mental, Emotional & Spiritual journey of becoming a mother
feeling low, anxious and lonely in postpartum is unfortunately all too common.
Our culture has stripped away the care, community, and understanding that postpartum mothers need and left us at home alone with our babies and our phone. Instead of compassionate community, we’re consuming Instagram perfection and feeling like we don’t measure up. Instead of being showered in care and support so we can heal and care for our babies, we’re left on our own with the belief that we should be able to do it all.
What if...feeling studier and happier in postpartum won’t come from anything you read online?
What if...what you really need is connection, listening, and perspective that grounds your matrescence experience and meets you exactly where you are?

Client Reviews
“Kate helped me explore and put words to everything I've been feeling and helped me feel really seen and understood throughout the whole process.
She had excellent questions that perfectly balanced curiosity and expanding my own thinking and perspective.
I walked away from our time together with a new way to think about this next chapter, as well as concrete next steps and resources. Every moment was so valuable and I can't recommend her 1:1 sessions enough, no matter what stage of motherhood you might be in.”
— Mads

“Kate’s ability to hold space, normalize and reflect back my experiences and feelings during my postpartum journey was transformative. Whenever I needed to get something out into the world or needed some thoughtful reflection, I would reach for my phone and voice memo to Kate and immediately felt heard and supported. It was like I had a friend with me at all times. Kate is truly magical.”

How is this different from a postpartum doula?
While postpartum doulas offer support to the mother through baby care, postpartum education, and companionship, postpartum matrescence support focuses on the mother’s mental, emotional and spiritual experience through the transition from woman to mother. Our time together is about YOU, offering you space and helpful perspective as you transform into the next version of you.
are sessions baby-friendly?
Yes, home visits are designed to keep you in your routine with your baby, offering support while you feed, change diapers, hold and sooth your baby. Of course, you are also welcome to pass baby to another caregiver during our time, if you wish to be able to give your full attention to the session.
